Announces Plans to Open TNLNET ISP Services to the General Public

 

April 10, 2000 — TEMPEST Network/Laboratories International, Inc. today announced it plans to open TNLNET services to the general public.  This will enable the company to establish a nation-wide Internet presence.   

Originally, TNLNET was TEMPEST's network for connecting the company's corporate clients via dedicated and ISDN lines. This expansion enables the company to accommodate more than 300 POPs (Point of Presence) throughout the U.S.

Individuals as well as organizations can now access the Internet through TNLNET. Benefits of the service include:
