their World Wide Web presence (www.tempestlabs.net)
on the Internet last month, announces the next phase in its online strategy, full-service
Internet access. The service will be listed as TNLNET (http://www.tnlnet.net).
Despite the fact that there are already numerous ISP's, TEMPEST believes they have a
market niche -- providing Internet access via superior technology. This strategy allows
TNL to help their clients overcome many of the frustrations of technology obsolescence as
well as providing an easier upgrade path for upcoming technologies. To facilitate this
move, TEMPEST will be maximizing present and future technology by doing the following:
- Providing the latest in technology: TNL, using its reputation for superior products and
services in the built-to-order and telecommunications industries, will build upon this
foundation by implementing the best in security, scalability, and unleashing the best in

- Enabling full bandwidth use: Virtually all ISP's provide 33.6 KBPS, 56 KBPS and higher
access rates, but the actual bit rate is far less, thereby leaving the client unable to
maximize their online investment. TNL will offer not only full bandwidth utilization, but
also guarantee that bandwidth per client will never exceed the number of concurrent
connections.
- Offering full secondary accounts and student discounts: With other ISP's, the client may
receive an extra mailbox for another member of the family or coworker. TEMPEST offers full
secondary accounts that are 80% off the price of standard personal or business accounts.
On top of this, students will receive an additional discount.
- Unleashing the power of the Internet: This is only the beginning. In the near future,
